Restorative Practices Approach

A whole school approach to how we respond to conflict by actively encouraging positive relationships, with the understanding that building relationships enhances connectedness and resilience. This in turn increases protective factors. We accomplish this by having restorative discussions with students focusing on 3 areas:

  • What happened - Calmly without blaming
  • Who was affected and how
  • How can it be fixed – Problem Solving
