In 2025, students at Wallan Primary can look forward to an exciting and dynamic Physical Education curriculum that combines traditional sports with a twist of modern and inclusive activities aimed at promoting children’s overall health and well-being. Students will participate in a range of physical activities and games that not only improve fitness but also foster teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
In Term 1, students had a fantastic Term 1 of learning and growing through a wide range of activities with Mrs. Stacey and Mr. Mozina.
Our Foundation students explored the fun world of sport and movement, learning to work with their peers and enjoying a variety of games.
Junior students continued to develop important physical skills like leaping and kicking, applying these to unique games that laid the groundwork for future PE lessons.
Upper year levels focused on mastering the skills needed to play sports such as tennis and basketball, while also taking part in swimming lessons at Kilmore Leisure Center to improve their swimming abilities.
Some of our Year 5 and 6 students even had the opportunity to host sporting competitions in basketball, volleyball, T-ball, and cricket against local schools during our weekly sports rotations.
The whole school came together for the annual Cross Country event, giving their best efforts as they ran through the course. A big thank you to all our volunteers, and a huge congratulations to our winners!
